As lead architect, Blane plays a key role in blending the critical requirements of acoustics and architecture with the desired aesthetic for RBDG's projects. He integrates the efforts of other members of the design team throughout programming, schematic design, design development and construction phases.
Blane's diverse professional experience includes commercial project development and facility design for both ground-up and existing construction, as well as more than 10 years designing acoustically sensitive spaces at RBDG. He maintains registration in both Architecture and Interior Design, and applies that knowledge to translate clients' needs and requirements into a comprehensive design.
Known for his sardonic wit and wry sense of humor, Blane entertains the whole RBDG staff, if not just himself, daily. Blane and his wife Urszula, a physician, enjoy traveling with their son Stephen whenever the opportunity arises.
